  • Work out at the fitness center or the pool
  • Participate in sports activities and games
  • And much more!

Lifelong Learning

Lifelong Learning

The Residence Halls Lifelong Learning program is robust and inclusive. You can participate at whatever level you desire, in lectures, discussion groups, art projects, and service opportunities. Professors and instruction are provided by the institution, retired faculty, or peer faculty. Classrooms are located on the first floor, and some classes may also be offered on campus.

While offerings vary by location, learning opportunities may include:

  • Environmental science
  • Humanities
  • Technology
  • Law
  • History
  • Languages
  • Art/music/film
  • Creative Writing
  • Physical therapy
  • Agriculture/Outdoor Classes
  • University-sponsored travel groups

Your level of involvement is up to you. Choose your amount of course work, or take no classes at all (participation in lifelong learning is not a requirement to live in our community).
